Animal Collective has got themselves some new shirts and some new respect for one of nature's cutest lil' creatures: the seal.

The musicians are taking part in the new campaign to raise awareness against, and stop the practice of killing seals for their fur.

AnCo's Dave Porter is a scuba diver and a marine enthusiest. He commented "I've learned more about the seal hunt through Peta's advertising campaign... but you know it's cruelty." Check out the video here.

Here's a way to teach your kids the ABCs and memorize a few things about music. 'An Indie Rock Alphabet Book' pairs the 26 letters of the English language to the 26 indie rock bands that might have earned that letter. Then adds a sentence of two to help the youngster remember. Take for instance 'K' - for King of Leon who "want to dance, but can't 'cause of their too-tight pants."

Think I might buy one for myself as I sort of stumbled around the ABCs at 'J'. (For Joy Division.)
