Who's up for a Nirvana performance? The storied grungers have a new DVD, Live at the Reading Festival, hitting the streets on the 20th anniversary of their debut album. The DVD is built around footage from their performance at the Festival in 1992.
A bootleg copy of the performance has actually already been leaked and is widely available on eBay and fan sites. This 'official' version has been approved by the remaining members of the band and includes special features.
Who wants a new Nirvana song? A previously unreleased live version of the Nirvana song 'Scoff' is available for download. The song has been put out as part of the new Nirvana 20th anniversary of the band's firth album Bleach.
Nineties grungers Alice in Chains are releasing their first new album in 10 years in about two months. Of course there's something different this time around: no Layne Staley. The singer died of drug overdose in 2002.
There's a new singer in the band, William DuVall, and they have just released the first single as a free download on their website. The track is titled "A Looking In View".
