Lizzy Jagger Naked and Riding A Tuna

The Rolling Stones have been in the news a lot lately. They just released a new single to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. And they are hitting the road again for their first shows in half a decade. But I think I just found the most interesting coming from a Jagger in recent times. It’s Mick’s daughter Lizzy naked riding a huge tuna. Lizzy did the shoot to support sustainable fishing around the globe. As a lover of all things aquatic, I full-heartedly support Lizzy’s cause. Ride the fish. Ride that fish.

The Rolling Stones // Doom and Gloom

The world’s greatest rockers are retarded old these days but that doesn’t seem to be taking the raddness out of Mick, Keith, Ron, and Charlie. The Rolling Stones are back with a new single. (And hopefully a new tour, we need to see these guys one more time before they kick off.) Here’s Doom and Gloom.

Girls In Chucks, Mick Jagger, and new Green Day

Girls In ChucksMick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger, and Green Day’s ‘Oh Love.’ I’m Eddie DaRoza, and here’s your Daily Detour.

Last sunday I spent a lot of time laying on my couch. And my on bed, and on my beach chair on the fire escape, and pretty much anywhere I could find a spot. I was relaxing! I did a lot of reading the iPad as well, and I found some cool stuff. Like my favorite shoe blog I’ve ever seen. It’s called Girls in Chucks, and it’s some of the coolest pictures you’ve seen of girls in Converse. There’s brunette girls in black converse, Blonde girls in American flag converse, girls in washing machines in green converse, and even topless girls in white converse! Whoa. I love shoes!
While reading the internet I discovered I book I really want to read. Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger looks like one of the coolest biographies written on the Stones frontman. The book features interviews with friends, family members, and musicians Mick has worked with over the years. We get a ton stories about Micks wild and crazy life, as well as a look at what drives the dude. Until we get an autobiography like Keiths from the Mickster, this will have to do.
And speaking of the Stones, Green Day just released the first song off what they are calling their Exile on Main Street. Green Day’s single Oh Love has premiered. Here’s a clip.
Ok that’s all for me. I am outta here. You have a nice rest of your day. Later.

Yes, The Darkness Really Did Just Bring A Stripping Bear To Wall Street

The Darkness bring a stripper bear to Wall St. in their new video for Everybody Have A Good Time. Also, The Rolling Stones 50th poster by Shepard Fairey, and drugs and love have something in common. I’m Eddie DaRoza, and here’s your Daily Detour.

Mick, Keith and the rest of the raddest rockers of all time are turning 50 this year. They’ve asked Shepard Fairey to design their anniversary logo. How’s it look? The S is a five and the O is a zero. Get it 50. Haha.
Do you happen to have a drug problem you’re trying to kick? I have a solution for you. Fall in love! Yes it’s true… turns out drug addiction and love activate the same area of the brain. Researchers analyzed results from over 20 different studies and have concluded one thing – love is addictive. Ahhhhhhhhh. Maybe Robert Palmer was right.
And finally today, the world we live in is a difficult place. Stock markets are crashing, protestors are occupying parks, jobs are hard to come by. And that’s why I’m leaving you with this – a stripping bear on Wall Street from the new video by The Darkness.
Ok that’s all for me. I am outta here. You have a nice rest of your day. Later.
