When I was 15 years old my favorite surf movie was called The Show and my favorite segment featured a song called Mutt by Blink-182. I’d rewind the video over and over (yes, rewind), and listen to the same song and watch the same waves as if I had nothing else to do. I didn’t, but whatever it was fun. It was the first generation of pop punk and it was awesome. There’s a new group of kids writing songs about skateboarding, and coke-cola, and fighting, and having sex, and waking up with one shoe on. One of the bands taking charge is called Super Prime… and they’re this week’s feature for Last Call.

Austin: Over thanksgiving as well, I was at a recording session with a band a bunch of my friends are in and they were having problems with getting signal from the bass. Turns out the volume from the bass amp going into Pro Tools was up all the way.

Austin: I was part of an underwater attack against Nazi frogs. It was very strange to say the least.
