It’s been quite sometime, but the DIY Canadians in Metric are out with a new song. ‘Youth Without Youth‘ is the first single off Metric’s new album Synthetica. According to songwriters Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw, Youth Without Youth is about anger, resentment, discontentment, and being pissed off. “The decay of the social state, through the eyes of a deprived youth,” says Emily.
