New Arcade Fire album "on track for a May release"

The Arcade Fire will release their next album in just four months and a single sooner then that, according to sources at Billboard.

Win, Régine, and friends have reportedly spent the last six months writing and recording music with producer Markus Dravs, who worked with the band on their album Neon Bible, and also with acts like Coldplay (Viva La Vida) and Brian Eno (Nerve Net).

Fans can also look forward to some live performances from the band as well, says Billboard.
