Oasis Puts Babies To Sleep

Oasis Puts Babies To Sleep

Moms and dads are getting sick of singing lullabyes to their babies, so they're switching 'em up to Guns 'n' Roses, Oasis and Katy Perry. Seriously! Parents are singing 'I Kissed A Girl' and 'Sweet Child 'O Mine' instead of twinkle twinkle little star.

Whose parents know the lyrics to Katy Perry songs???

Anyways, here's the top ten list of alternative night time songs  that parents are singing their babies, according to The Baby Website:

1. 'Patience' - Take That
2. 'Angels' - Robbie Williams
3. 'I Kissed a Girl' - Kate Perry
4. 'You're Beautiful' - James Blunt
5. 'Love Me Tender' - Elvis Presley
6. 'Beautiful' - Christine Aguilera
7. 'Warwick Avenue' - Duffy
8. 'Sweet Child O' Mine' - Guns N' Roses
9. 'Wonderwall' - Oasis
10. 'Girl' – Sugababes

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that these are U.K. parents. I don't think American mommies and daddies are picking Take That, over like anything. The lady from the website says "We were really surprised to find that mums would rather sing modern pop tunes than traditional lullabies."

And I think I probably would also. But the baby would be like, you suck!

I can only imagine it'd make kids a tiny bit better adjusted to the modern world. Lullabies have transformed. Yay for evolution of lullabies!!!
