A harrowing showdown between police and naked PETA people took place in London yesterday. The protest was centered outside a popular upmarket department store called Selfridges. See, the naked PETA people were there to help out the little ducks and geese whose livers are made into delectable little entrees known as foie gras.

See, foie gras is made by force feeding all kinds of shit food down the throats of the birds. The birds then develop a fatty liver that some people like to eat. A number of British retailers have stopped selling foie gras, but Selfridges refuses.

Stuffing food down prisoner birds throats sounds pretty mean to me. I really hope the naked people win.

listen, they make you think foie gras is made only by forcibly stuffing a tube down a ducks throat and making them sick. this in fact is only an exaggerated story to what really happens on most foie gras farms. the geese actually don't feel the tube being stuck down their throats like humans would, the whole process is quick and painless and they live normal lives like any other farm bird. the liver does swell up but that doesnt cause any complications like you would imagine. to be honest i'm tired of activists not knowing the full story or highly exaggerating facts to make their view seem the right one when in fact they'r very very wrong
