California May Legalize And Tax Marijuana

For real! San Francisco assemblyman Tom Ammiano has introduced a bill that would legalize marijuana for use and purchase to people 21 years old and up.

Marijuana would be taxed at $50 an ounce from sellers, and all growers would be taxed as well. 

Ammiano says the state would take in over $1 billion a year in new revenue.

We think it's a great idea. And we don't even smoke pot often!
