Interview with Boots Electric Eagles of Death Metal Man Spreads Those Wings And Takes Flight On His Own
If you’ve ever been to The Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco you know it’s a really great club to see a show. It’s super small and intimate, and hundreds of up-and-coming bands from Oasis to Green Day have played there for the hundred or so revelers in the audience. I got to see Boots Electric at the Bottom of the Hill just recently – and whoa what a rock show. Here’s an insider tip – if you go the Bottom of the Hill make friends with the band. There’s no real regulation for backstage, and you’ll get to party it up ’till the wee hours of the evening.
Here’s a quick convo with Boots Electric, aka Jesse Hughes.

A Short History Of Power Ballads (Part 1) Hail To Sentimental Metal
I don’t know if there’s a more emotional moment in rock then the power ballad. It’s the only time a guy can say what he’s really thinking without looking like a total pussy. The raging guitars, thunderous drums, and babes dancing on cars outweigh the fact he’s getting sentimental over his girlfriend ditching his zebra-spandex wearing ass.
I love power ballads. Especially at 4am. Here’s a quick video.
And thanks States band for joining in.
