LISTEN: Wavves New Song “Hippies Is Punks” Adult Swim Song Premiere
Wavves has a new album on the way and one of the songs was just released for the Adult Swim singles program. The song is called Hippies is Punks and according to Nathan, and according to Nathan it’s just one many songs the band has written with “no label involvement” and “100% ours.”

New Album From Matt and Kim on October 10th BKNY in the House
The cutest couple in indie rock are about to release a new album on the world. Matt and Kim’s latest is titled Lightening and it will debut on October 10th. Their management sent out a little note: “Lightning was recorded by the Brooklyn duo in their Grand Street apartment and features ten outstanding tracks written in true Matt and Kim fashion.”

LISTEN: New Metric – ‘Youth Without Youth’ Emily Haines & Co Is Back
It’s been quite sometime, but the DIY Canadians in Metric are out with a new song. ‘Youth Without Youth‘ is the first single off Metric’s new album Synthetica. According to songwriters Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw, Youth Without Youth is about anger, resentment, discontentment, and being pissed off. “The decay of the social state, through the eyes of a deprived youth,” says Emily.
