Debut Album From The Bleeding Knees Club Coming Next Month Aussies Bringing Teenage Girls and Bad Guys

The Bleeding Knees Club has announced they will be releasing their debut album ‘Nothing To Do’ on Feb. 27th, 2012.

These Aussie garage rockers blew some minds after pumping out three of our favorite songs in recent memory – Teenage GirlsBad Guys, and Have Fun – all on one 4-song EP. Watch the video for Teenage Girls here. The video that singer Alex Wall said  “…we really wanted it to be filmed in the U.S.A. because we felt the U.S. has that kind of attitude we wanted the clip to have. When I got the first cut back a few weeks later and the opening scene was a bird smoking an apple bong, I knew he nailed it.”

The Big Pink Future This
>

New Music

It’s 2012 and the year’s soundtrack is starting off alright with a new album from The Big Pink. This one is called Future This, is composed of ten tracks, and picks right up where the boys left off in 2009. You can stream all of it right here.

I have a favorite in the title track pay special attention to that one. Oh yeah, and I heard the name for the album comes from a skateboard ad from the ’80s. Anyone have any idea which and where?

Agent X - Rock N Roll Angels
>

Agent X

Twenty-four years after the Sunset Strip metal band Agent X recorded their album Rock N Roll Angels it’s finally on record store shelves. Oh wait, in the time that it took them to release the album record stores have actually disappeared.

Agent X recorded the album with Kim Fowley, producer of Runaways fame. It’s only six songs, but it’s six songs of all that was fun on the strip in the ’80s – or at least how those of us too young imagine it.

The label describes the album: Going all the way back to 1987, we have struck more gold with a band that deserves its place among Sunset Strip lore. Demon Doll Records and Jailhouse singer Danny Simon have teamed up to finally deliver AGENT X to your door with their six song CD ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Angels’!

Check it out here.
