There's a new film/documentary being released on the stealthy street artist known as Banksy. The film has been created by Ivan Massow, who served as Chairman of London's Institute of Contemporary Arts until he was sacked for writing a piece where he branded current conceptual art as "the product of over-indulged, middle-class, bloated egos who patronise real people with fake understanding."

Anyways, Massow's film stars Joan Collins and* Banksy. Collins hosts a dinner party and the guest of honor is the world's most celebrated graffiti artist. Posted above is the trailer.

*No word on if Banksy actually appears in the film.

These six portraits Banksy created of Kate Moss in 2005 are up for auction at Bonhams. The auctionaire is estimating these items will sell for more than $200,000 - each. Banksy made four sets of these six prints. So a total of 20 'Kate Moss' screenprints exist. And each are signed, numbered and dated by Banksy. And of course, the stencils were inspired by Andy Warhol's portrait of Marilyn Monroe.

Supposedly Banksy has joined in the protest of Jay-Z headlining the Glastonbury Festival. For the first time in 15 years Glasto hasn't sold out. In fact, over 3,000 tickets remain unsold!

The supposed Banksy piece spraypainted outside is Jay-Z's body with Glasto organizer Michael Eavis's head attached. Banksy is said to be a long time supporter of the legendary rock festival.

For what it's worth, Eavis is blaming poor weather at past festivals for the lack of sales: "There's a lot at stake. We really do need a good year this year, that's for sure. There were about 3,000 left this morning. But they are going out slowly. We did about 800 yesterday so we'll just about scrape home without losing my shirt."

"We would consider selling the wall" says the guy who owns the liquor store where Banksy spraypainted his latest piece last week. Like here in California, parts of the U.K. are hoping to ban plastic bags. Trash sucks! Banksy thinks so to.

The owner of the shop is stoked be the owner of an original stencil from one of Britains most desired artists:

"I just walked into the shop on Monday and, lo and behold, there it was."

"I am absolutely delighted - I think it's just fantastic. I've heard how much these works can go for."

"We would consider selling the wall, but not the shop. I think anyone who would want to erase it is crazy. It's a piece of art."

I'll buy a wall! I want something better then kids saluting a bag though. Like the Queen peeing! (Check out this Banksy rat on eBay right now.)

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie just dropped $2 million on a Banksy piece in London. I didn't even know you could buy 'em. What do they do? Chop out the wall or something? This is the second Banksy auction in the last few months. Last time around the underground artist racked up about $6.5 million in two hours.

Reportedly Brad and Angie beat out Ashley Olsen and Dennis Hopper, among others, for the painting rat. I bet the Hopper can just get Banksy to paint him his own. You know those guys chill and smoke all day and talk crazy talk. Oh yeah, and I have a picture on Banksy. Yeah that's right, I know what he looks like. Maybe one day I'll publish it, but for now, naaaaa.

Banksy was voted greatest living British artist. And no -- he didn't show up to collect his award from The Queen. We actually have pictures of what Banksy looks like but out of respect we will not post them. Instead, check out our gallery of his work:

So I'm driving down hipster central, Melrose avenue in Los Angeles, and what do I see? Banksy graffiti. Looks like the legendary artist has paid a visit to L.A. Of course it is not known when he hit (probably early 2006), but he sure got a lot done. There are about ten pieces littered along the street, and I bet they aren't going anywhere anytime soon. A Banksy piece is an honor in this trendy area. That's one thing Banksy's art doesn't do -- piss people off. (Unless you are a museum curator, or whaling wall minion, as he has hit those too.)

If you don't know about Banksy, check him out! He is what graffiti should be. Actually he does more than graffiti -- he does art/graffiti/mayhem/social commentary -- but most see it as graffiti.
